Trezevant Has Best Tasting Water |
| |
TRENTON (April 15) Trezevant has the best
tasting water in the region, according to a
blind tasting test conducted in Trenton. The
Tennessee Association of Utility Districts
held the District 8 Best Tasting Water
Contest at the Ed Jones Agriplex on April
15.
Tony Curtis, certified water operator for
the town of Trezevant, submitted the water
samples. Other utilities competing were: Big
Sandy, Bradford, Clarksburg, city of Gibson,
Harbor Utility District, Kenton, Milan,
Paris, Ripley, Rutherford, Trenton, and
Trezevant.
Judges were Gibson County Mayor Joe
Sheppard, USDA District Loan Specialist
Brenda Horner, Ed ONeill with the J.R.
Fleming Training Center, Carmen Leister of
Central Services Association, and Danny
Jones of the Trenton Gazette.
The taste tests will be conducted in each of
the 11 regions with the winner of each
submitted for statewide judging. |
