Jesi Ariana Brown, daughter of  Jessica Vestal and Eli Brown of McKenzie, is Carroll County’s first baby of 2008.

MCKENZIE – Jesi Ariana Brown is Carroll County’s first baby of 2008. The young lady was born January 1, 10:28 a.m. at McKenzie Regional Hospital.

Jesi is the daughter of Jessica Vestal and Eli Brown, both of McKenzie. Jessica is a student at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie and Brown works at Leroy Somer factory in Lexington. Brown has another child, Dante Brown, age 4.

Jesi weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 inches long. She was delivered by Amy Papszycki.

Grandparents include Teresa Towater, Roy Runions, Louise Johnson, and Robert Brown.
