Candidates are already preparing for the
November 4 municipal elections in Carroll

the August 21 filing deadline.
In McKenzie, council members will be elected

November 2010.
In Ward One, Shaun T. Thompson has filed his

petition but not yet filed it.
In Bruceton and in Hollow Rock, each town
will elect three aldermen. No one has picked
up a petition.
In Trezevant, voters will elect a mayor and
five aldermen. Three persons have picked up
petitions but none has been filed. For
mayor, Bobby Blaylock and Lebert Lee
Walker have picked up petitions. For the
aldermen positions, incumbents Bobby
Blaylock and George E. Jennings have picked
up petitions. Linda Radford, administrator
of elections, said Blaylock will decide
which of the two offices to seek before
filing his qualifying petition. |
