Beeler Fundraiser Overwhelming Success

The Beeler family poses with Dr. T.K. Smith staff members Saturday at the park. Seated, left to right, are: Tim Beeler holding Carlie, Drew Beeler, Ashley Beeler holding Miles; middle row, Melissa Brewer, Kelly Simmons, April McCaslin; back row, Joan Robertson, Dr. Tom Smith, Janet Goodrum.

Saturday presented a picture-perfect day for activities at McKenzie Recreational Park to raise funds for the Tim and Ashley Beeler family. The event was a tremendous success, according to staff members at Dr. T.K. Smith’s office, who sponsored the event.

Tim and Ashley have incurred mounting expenses following the birth of triplets in February. The babies, two girls and a boy, arrived prematurely with many complications. After a long hard battle, baby Cate lost her life. With two babies still experiencing some complications, the family’s escalating expenses continue.

Guests enjoyed a day of varied entertainment, including performances by local vocalists and comedian, a co-ed softball tournament, live auction, jumper for the kids, face painting, dunking booth, calk walk and concessions.

Holton Electric claimed first place in the softball tournament, with J & C team winning second place.
