Rebels Soccer Team Falls to Lexington 2-1

Lexington 2, McKenzie 1

MCKENZIE (March 25) — The McKenzie Rebels Soccer team began their 2008 campaign at home by losing a fierce 2-0 defensive struggle to Lexington.

In the loss, Rebel goalie Damon Hardy provided solid defense.

Rebel Chris Ventura provided the lone goal for McKenzie, tying the score at one-all in the second half.

A late goal by the Tigers lifted Lexington to a hard-fought 2-1 road victory.

Rebels Soccer Team Loses 2-0 to USJ.

JACKSON (March 27) Despite an inspired 15-save performance by Rebel goalie Damon Hardy, the young Rebels, beset by limited scoring opportunities, battled hard before falling to the Bruins, 2-0.

The Rebels season record stands at 0-2.
