Huntingdon Mustang baseball player Brayden Baxter, surrounded by family and Mustang players, signs a baseball scholarship with Martin Methodist College.

HUNTINGDON (March 6) - Surrounded by family, teammates and media, Huntingdon baseball standout Brayden Baxter signed a baseball scholarship with Martin Methodist College located in Pulaski.

Prior to signing, Huntingdon Head Baseball Coach Alan Eubanks stated, “Brayden has earned this scholarship through hard work, talent, making good decisions in life, and by surrounding himself with good people. This is not only a great achievement for him personally, but also speaks well for the Huntingdon Mustang baseball program and Huntingdon High School.”

He continued, “Martin Methodist has a tremendous baseball program, and Coach Wallace has signed a strong player in Brayden.”

Baxter a 6’ 1”, 180-pound centerfielder, led the Mustangs with 28 RBI and 5 home runs in 2007. In addition, he drove in 37 runs, hit 14 doubles and yielded an impressive hitting percentage of .352.
