(March 28, 2022) — Average gasoline prices in Tennessee have fallen 2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.01/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 56.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.38/g higher than a year ago.

Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart McWhorter and LG Chem officials today announced the company’s plan to invest approximately $3.2 billion to establish a new cathode manufacturing facility in Clarksville, Tennessee, which will support the electric vehicle battery value-chain in the U.S.

HUNTINGDON (January 24) — The Town of Huntingdon approved a $1.3 million loan for sewer improvements during the January 24 meeting of the Huntingdon Mayor and Council. Much of the funds are to provide additional wastewater services to the Carroll County 1000-Acre Recreation Lake.

McKENZIE (October 4) — On Tuesday evening, the City of McKenzie held a special called meeting where Ryan White’s interim tag was removed making him the chief of police. White, a 21-year veteran of the McKenzie Police Department, has served as the interim chief of police since September 17 following the sudden retirement of Craig Moates.
