HUNTINGDON (May 6) — Fifty-one indictments were handed down during the May term of the Carroll County Grand Jury last week. The charges include Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, Child Rape, and numerous drug-related offenses.
Creighton Lyle Cockrill, 24, of McLemoresville, was indicted on multiple charges including Aggravated Vehicular Homicide and Vehicular Homicide stemming from a fatal accident on Hwy 70A between McLemoresville and Atwood in July 2018 that took the life of 64-year old Sara (Sally) Aylor also of McLemoresville. The accident also left Aylor’s husband George injured. Cockrill’s indictment also included Vehicular Assault, Aggravated Vehicular Assault, and DUI-First Offense.
Cassius Sinclair Jordan of McKenzie was indicted for Especially Aggravated Kidnapping and 3 counts of Aggravated Assault following a disturbance in August 2018. A 911 call sent McKenzie Police to a Kay Street residence where officers located, Jessica Rhoades, the 911 caller, who stated that Jordan told her if she didn’t help him rob the homeowner, he would kill him and knock out the other female visitor in the house.
There were two Walk-In indictments handed down involving multiple charges. The offenders remain anonymous until they have been arrested and charged.
Walk-In #1 for Aggravated Child Abuse/Neglect/Endangerment, 2 Counts of Felony Reckless Endangerment – Vehicle, Evading Arrest Flight – Vehicle, Driving While License Revoked-2nd or Subsequent Offense, False Reports To Officer, and Violation of Motor Vehicle Light Law.
Walk-In #2 for Possession of Schedule I Drugs With Intent To Manufacture, Deliver, Or Sell, Possession of Schedule II Drugs: Cocaine-5 Grams or Greater, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange

Dakota Ezekiel Brett for Statuatory Rape.
