Bass Cats qualified three for National Championship

BAINBRIDGE, GA - The Bethel University Bass Cats qualified three teams this past week for the FLW National Championship to be held in 2020. The Bass Cats finished in the top five in the FLW Southeastern Regional this past week with Cody Huff and Garrett Enders weighing in at 19 lbs. 11 oz.The pair of Bethel Anglers continued where they left off last season and continue to be ranked as two of the top college bass anglers in the nation. The Wildcats competed against over 175 boats in this tournament with the top ten percent of anglers in the event advancing to the championship.The next Bethel teams to qualify were those of John Garrett/Kyle Palmer with 16 lbs. 14 oz. for 13th place and the 15th place team of KJ Queen/Dax Ewart with 16 lbs. 1 oz. to round out the qualifying teams from Bethel University.All three of these teams will travel to the 2020 FLW National Championship which will be announced at a later date.Bethel will compete in three more FLW tournaments throughout the year for a chance to qualify even more teams for the 2020 national championship.The Bass Cats qualified eleven boats/22 Anglers last season for the upcoming 2019 FLW National Championship which will be held on the Potomac River in June of this year. Congratulations to the Wildcats Bass team for a great finish in the FLW Southeastern Regional.
