Bethel University Girls’ Basketball Camp

McKENZIE — Bethel Coach Chris Nelson, staff, and players closed out their Bethel University Girls’ Basketball Camp Thursday morning at the Crisp Arena in McKenzie. The campers were reminded by Coach Nelson to continue to work hard and enjoy the game. Each player was given a basketball, t-shirt, and certificate.
Award winners in grades K – Fifth Grade were:
Free-Throws — Aubrey Hammett — West Carroll, (16-25)
Obstacle Course — Kaitlynn Patterson — Spring Hill, (17 seconds)
Hot Shot Winner — Paislee Wall — Spring Hill, (26 pts)
Camper of the Week — Kaitlynn Patterson — Spring Hill
The team competition was won by The Hoopz, coached by Bethel standout Millie Bryant.

Nelson and his staff closed out their sixth grade through ninth grade Middle School Camp Thursday afternoon Coach Nelson thanked all the campers for attending and stressed to them to continue to work hard and enjoy the game.
The award winners were:
Free-Throw Champion — Rebecca Wood — Bradford, (25-35)
Gotcha Champion — Mikaela Reynolds —McKenzie
Hot Shot Champion — Kyeana Sneed — McKenzie, (33pts.)
Camper of the Week — Ashlee Mallon — Dresden
Team winner — The Takeovers –Coached by Bethel standout Ashton Hulme
“We had a great week with these young ladies. They all worked hard and I want to express to them how excited we were to have them visit our program. Thanks to their parents, my staff and players for making it a great time for all,” commented Coach Nelson.
