Carroll County Sheriff’s Reports

3/12/19 Edition

Missing Teen — Authorities are looking for a teen who recently went missing from a McKenzie residence.
According to the report by Deputy Christopher Adams, he contacted Tamara Hollowell of 570 Paw Paw Lane in McKenzie on March 2. Hollowell told Adams that her 17-year-old daughter had come to her residence at around 2 a.m. and had asked her to get her a hotel room in McKenzie before getting angry and leaving. Hollowell said she has not seen or heard from her daughter since that time. A missing child report has been submitted to the T.B.I.
Assault — An Atwood woman and a Trenton man were arrested March 4 after allegedly assaulting an Enville man at an Atwood residence.
According to the report by Deputy Cody Walker, he responded to the parking lot of an Atwood business and spoke with Enville resident Robert L. Phillips, 39. Phillips told the officer that he and his girlfriend, Kimberly Diane Knight, 39, of 98 Raymond Street in Atwood, had gotten into an argument at Knight’s residence, and when he tried to leave, she started hitting and pushing him. Phillips said that Knight’s son, Cody Gene Mack, 22, of Trenton, then came and hit him in the eye with some kind of object. Walker observed that Phillips had a deep laceration on his left eye, which was swollen shut. Walker went to 98 Raymond Street and spoke with Knight and Mack. Knight said that Phillips had been hitting her. Walker observed that Knight had some minor scratches on her left forearm. Mack said that he had heard Phillips and his mother arguing outside, and when he looked out, he saw Phillips choking his mother. Mack said he threw a glass bottle trying to scare them, striking Phillips by accident. Walker arrested both Knight and Mack and transported them to the Carroll County Jail. Phillips was transported to the Milan Hospital by a relative.
