Court Order Violation — A Huntingdon man was arrested May 10 for violating a court order.
According to the report by Deputy Dennis Adkins, a court order was issued against Ricardo Alvaraz Islas, 37, of 38 Jesse Lane in February prohibiting him from having any contact with Angela Patino of Huntingdon after Islas was charged with domestic assault. While investigating a gas drive-off, Adkins found Islas with Patino at a McKenzie business. A computer check showed that the court order was still active.
License Violation — A Hollow Rock man was cited into court during a May 13 traffic stop on Smyrna Road.
Curtis T. Owens, 51, of 601 Holcomb Street was cited for driving on a revoked license. Deputy Cody Walker reported that he pulled over a vehicle driven by Owens shortly before midnight. A computer check showed that Owens’ driver’s license had been revoked for a previous DUI conviction. Owens told Walker that his cousin lived nearby, so the deputy allowed Owens to call his cousin to come pick him up.

Simple Possession — A Bruceton man was cited into court during a May 13 traffic stop near Hollow Rock.
Joseph Ryan Moudy, 38, of 108 Ash Street was cited for simple possession of a schedule VI drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Michael Smith reported that he pulled over a black Ford Mustang driven by Moudy at the intersection of Hebron Road and Hebron Church Road after observing the vehicle cross the fog line several times. A female juvenile was also in the Moudy’s car as a passenger. According to Smith, he smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and then gained Moudy’s permission to search the car. During the search, Smith found a glass pipe with marijuana residue in it in the glove compartment and some marijuana in a glass jar and a marijuana grinder in a purse in the back seat. Moudy told the deputy that the items found in the purse belonged to him. The juvenile was released into her mother’s custody.
Unwelcome Drone — Deputy Chris Adams responded to a May 15 incident involving a drone at a residence near Hollow Rock.
According to Adams’ report, he went to 26855 Highway 114 and spoke with Kimberly Crouch. She told Adams that she was housesitting for a friend when she heard a noise coming from the back of the house. Crouch said that when she opened a bedroom window, she saw a drone hovering right outside the window. The owner of the drone had not yet been determined at the time of Adams’ report.
