Court Clerk News

We hope everyone is having a safe and wonderful summer!
Exciting changes continue to happen in the courthouse.
We are thrilled to welcome our new General Sessions Clerk, Carissa French, to our team. Her years of experience with the Sheriff’s Department will serve her well as clerk.
Kathy Pinkston, former General Sessions clerk, is now serving as court bookkeeper. Kathy’s past bookkeeping experience paired with her years as a clerk made for a great fit.
Our new webpage allows access to the court calendar, dockets, documents, online payments and more. Go to carrollcountytn.gov. Click the County Government tab/County Court to access this information.

Courthouse security is being enhanced, thanks to a state grant. New cameras in the lobby, panic buttons at each clerk’s desk and a bulletproof door and partition are being added in the Circuit Court Office.
We added an information monitor to inform citizens and visitors of important court information such as courtroom rules and procedures, dates, times, phone numbers, driving school, jury duty and new laws.
This fall, we look forward to offering Carroll County its first Expungement and Resource Clinic.
On behalf of the Court Clerk Team, it is our pleasure to serve you.
We will continue to build bridges from you to the judicial system.
God bless you and your family this summer.
