WINGO Community - Earl Taylor died August 7, 2019. Funeral services are Saturday, August 10, 2 p.m. at Wingo Baptist Church, between McKenzie and Trezevant, Tenn.

He was born to the late Hurley Taylor, Sr. and Emma (Hughes) on October 17, 1934.  He married the late Mattie Adkisson on May 30, 1960.  Five children were born to this union. 

Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by six sisters: Odesia Hurt, Georgia Nell Newbill, Fannie Mae Howard, Joan Taylor, Willie T. Tate and Reatha Lipscomb; three brothers: Charles H. Taylor, John Thomas Taylor and Bolygard Standford.

He leaves five children:  Teresa Jordan of Trezevant, Tenn., Beverly Hughes of Trezevant, Tenn., Wanda Bates of Surprize, Arizona, Kenneth (Janna) Taylor of Franklin, Tenn. and Elveta (William) Cooper of Nolensville, Tenn.; one brother, Hurley (Bertha) Taylor and brother-in-law, Ralph Tate; mother-in-law, Hestella Adkisson; two brothers-in-law, Oscar (Ophelia) Adkisson and Earl (Lurlene) Adkisson; four sisters-in-law, Mabel (Billy) Kelly, Mary Brown, Angelene (Robert) Moore and Lula Williamson;  nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Baskerville Funeral Home had charge of services.
