Shoplifting — A Paris woman was arrested after allegedly shoplifting at a gas station in Huntingdon.
On November 2, the store manager of Huck’s gas station in Huntingdon contacted dispatch with a request for an officer to come view surveillance video of a theft that occurred the previous night. The video showed Melinda Lancaster, 40, of Paris, stuffing a Mrs. Freshley’s pastry in her back pocket and a cell phone charger in her front pocket and leaving the store without paying for the items. Lancaster was charged with theft of property under $1,000.
Theft of Property Under $1,000 — An employee of a local gas station was caught shoplifting while at work.
On August 26, an employee of Little General in Huntingdon was arrested after taking consumable goods without rendering payment. According to the arrest report, on August 16, Daniel Sneed, 40, of 5813 Old Stage Road in Huntingdon, willingly and knowingly took several food items without paying for them. The goods stolen by Sneed consisted of three rolls, one bologna biscuit, one fountain drink, one sausage biscuit and one sausage, egg and cheese roll. The monetary value of the stolen goods is $8.55. Daniel Sneed was charged with one count of theft of property under $1,000.
