YUMA — Mr. James Edward “Squeeky” Harris, 91, of Yuma, died Thursday, March 28, 2019 at McKenzie Healthcare.
Funeral services were Monday, April 1, 2019 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Chase Sanders officiating. Interment was in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Harris was born July 25, 1927 in Shiloh, Tennessee, to the late James Thomas Harris and Lessie (Haynes) Harris. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Myracle Smith, Lucille Boyd, Irene Hollowell, five brothers, Bradley Harris, Danny Ray Harris, John Harris, O. T. Harris, J. R. Harris, and son-in-law, Glenn McCadams.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Maxine Harris, two daughters, Alacia McCadams of Nashville, Patricia Chandler (Danny) of Camden, two sons, Kenny Harris (Rita) of Three-Way, Kevin Harris (Laurie) of Union City, two sisters, Betty Jo Furr of Huntingdon, Sue Carrol Gurley of Clarksburg, two brothers, Charles Harris (Glenda) of Clarksburg and Donald Harris (Dianne) of McKenzie. He also leaves eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
