Josephine Parker

HENRY — Mrs. Josephine Estelle Mizell Parker, 101, of Henry, Tennessee died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Henry County Medical Center. Her funeral service was Sunday, December 16, 2018 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial was in VanDyke Church of Christ Cemetery.
Josephine was born June 12, 1917 in Mansfield, Tennessee to the late E.E. Mizell and the late Susie Cannon Mizell. She married George N. Parker on November 8, 1942 and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2002. Mrs. Parker is survived by daughters: Janice (Bob) Perry of Paris, Tennessee, Betty Cate of Henry, Joyce Parker of Henry, and Mary Malone of Paris; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Josephine is also preceded in death by her son: Elery N. and wife, Ruth Parker, sons-in-law: Eddie Malone and Don Cate; sisters: Celeste Parker, Dorothy Diggs, and Mary B. Foust; and brother: Joe Mizell.
