McKENZIE - Funeral services for June M. Cook, 93, are Tuesday October 29, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2018 2:00 p.m. until service time. Reverend Phillip Cook will officiate and interment is a Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, Tenn..

Mrs. Cook, a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church McKenzie, died October 28, 2018 at Dyersburg Health and Rehab. She was born June 1, 1925 in McKenzie to Hughlon A. and Georgia Brawner Morris. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Cook, daughter, Betsy Barcroft and her brother, Thomas Ray Morris.

She is survived by her son, Rev. Phillip (Julie) Cook of Dyersburg, a sister, Evelyn Tucker of McKenzie, a brother, Dr. Gordon (Paula) Morris of Sharon, five grandchildren, Russell (Yuli) Cook, Christopher (Tammy) Cook, William (Erica) Cook, Matt (Bora) Whitehead and Mark (Julie) Whitehead, ten great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
