Lawrence Completes Eagle Scout Project

Posted

On May 25, 2019, Jack Lawrence of McLemoresville celebrated with Boy Scout Troop 78 of McKenzie and the city of McLemoresville the completion of his Eagle Scout Project. Jack’s project consisted of setting new flag poles, new flags and new lighting to the Carroll County Museum in McLemoresville.
The troop, community volunteers, city personnel and his parents worked many hours assisting Jack on his project. Watson’s Lumber donated the forms and paint supplies for the poles, city of McLemoresville supplied the concrete, Randy Wood assisted in setting the poles and Carroll County Electric dug the holes for the poles.
McLemoresville Mayor Phil Williams said, “We are proud that Jack wanted to give back and do this for our community.”
