Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — On Sunday, March 3, McKenzie Police were working a traffic accident scene at the intersection of University Drive and Hwy 22 when Officer Dalton Raspberry observed a Red 2004 Hyundai Elantra leave University Street and enter traffic. Raspberry recognized the driver and was aware of an active warrant on her. The driver, Franchesca Johnson of McKenzie, was stopped and a driver’s license check was done and found that her license was suspended. Johnson’s active warrant was confirmed and she was arrested for Felony Probation Violation out of Murfreesboro and cited into General Sessions Court for Driving on Suspended/Revoked License.
Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — While on routine patrol shortly after midnight last Tuesday, March 5, Officer Cody Coleman observed a vehicle driven by someone he knew to have a revoked license. Coleman initiated a stop after confirming the license status through dispatch. The driver, Jessica Rhoades of Atwood, admitted her license was suspended. Her passenger, Adrian Moore was found to have an active warrant out of Weakley County for failure to appear in court. Moore was arrested and turned over to Weakley County authorities, Rhoades was cited into General Sessions Court for Driving While Suspended-First Offense.
Contempt of Court — According to a report filed by Officer Billy King, the police department received information last Saturday, March 9, that Tabatha Humfrees was at Little General and had two active warrants. Humfrees was with Jeremy Russell who was found to be in violation of an Order Granting Bail and was arrested later that day.
