McKenzie School Board To Meet

McKENZIE — McKenzie’s Board of Education is slated to meet Tuesday, August 6 at 5:30 p.m. for their regular monthly meeting. Following the adoption of the regular and consent agendas, Drew Beeler, this year’s Student Board Representative will be officially installed as a member of the school board. He had been announced at an earlier meeting and will be sworn in.
Board members will consider for approval, McKenzie Elementary gym re-roof, and awnings for the Elementary and High School. They will also consider a memorandum of understanding for approval related to Collaborative Conferencing with the professional staff.

Several amendments to the MSSD Board of Education Policy Manual will be considered including Minutes, Graduation Requirements, Testing Programs, Separation Practices for Tenured Teachers, Separation Practices for Non-Tenured Teachers, and Students from Military Families.
Food service bids for produce, Milk and Milk Products, Ice Cream Products, along with Food/Non-Food Supplies will be considered for approval.
The public is encouraged to attend.
