Mildred Moore

TREZEVANT, Tenn. - A funeral service for Mildred Moore is Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Trezevant. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the church 5:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment is at Trezevant Cemetery, and Bro. Malcolm Norton will officiate the service.

Mrs. Moore, 92, died September 30, 2018 at Lakeside Senior Living, McKenzie, Tenn.

She was born on March 14, 1926 to O.W. and Rosa Lee Adams Argo. Mrs. Moore was a member of First Baptist Church, Trezevant and a retired elementary school teacher, teaching in both the Trezevant and West Carroll School systems. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James E. Moore, a son, Jon Mark Moore and seven siblings.

She is survived by a daughter, Jan (Jim) McAdams of Brownsville, Tenn., two sons, James E. (Angie) Moore, Jr of Trezevant and Joe A. Moore of Paris, Tenn., four grandchildren, Jay Moore of Franklin, Tenn., Anna Moore (Brad) Goss of Russellville, Ark., Trey (Lauren) McAdams of Clinton, Tenn. and Molly McAdams of Starkville, Miss. and two great-grandchildren, Livi Claire and Shepherd Goss.
