More Honors for Bethel Football

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More accolades for Bethel’s J’Kobi Reddick and several teammates rolled in on Thursday as the NAIA announced the 2018 NAIA All-America teams. The Wildcats had four selections from first, second and honorable mention teams.
Reddick was named NAIA First Team All-American as a Specialist. He was No. 1 in the nation in punt return yards per attempt at 20.9. He had 355 yards in returns. Reddick returned four for touchdowns.
Devante Jimenez led Bethel in receptions with 34 with eight of those for touchdowns. He was named to the second team.

Bethel’s Sam Castronova and Jeremy Beaulieu were named to the honorable mention squad. Castronova passed for 2, 453 yards this past season. He threw 28 touchdown passes which is a new single season record at the school. Beaulieu led the Wildcats in total tackles with 96. He also 8.5 tackles for losses.
The Wildcats finished 10-1 on the year. The Cats made history with the first undefeated regular season in school history.
The NAIA All-America teams differ from the AFCA list with the addition of an honorable mention team this season. In total, 106 student-athletes were honored over the three teams.
