‘Never Quit’ Organization Assists Local Cancer Patients

Posted

“Never Quit,” a non-profit organization founded in memory of the late Lori Pearson, is working to provide direct support to local cancer patients and to further the healing ministry of Christ. Pearson was a former teacher at McKenzie Middle School and a softball coach for MHS. She resided in Huntingdon and was very active in the church.
Never Quit’s goal is to help as many families in the Carroll County area as possible. However, the organization needs support from the community to accomplish this.
A gala is Monday, November 26 at the Carroll County Civic Center with tickets $100 for individuals or $650 for a table of eight.

Never Quit is hosting a 5K run on Thanksgiving morning in Huntingdon. It starts at the court square. Entry is $20 for adults, $15 for ages 18 and under.
A county T-shirt is for sale until November 10.
Person with questions about any of the above please contact Susan Dyer at (731) 234-4584.
