Sandra Hancock

Mrs. Sandra Hancock, 71, of Big Sandy, formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were Friday, January 18, 2019 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Hansen officiating the service. Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Hancock was born October 22, 1947 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Leon and Thelma (Thompson) Smith. She taught several years at Clarksbsurg High School where she was also a cheerleading coach.
She is survived by her husband, of 49 years, Jerome Hancock, one daughter, Mandy Hancock of Lenior City, one son, Casey Hancock of Huntingdon, one sister, Teresa Smith (Phillip) of Atlanta, Georgia, and one brother, Carthel Smith of Decaturville. She also leaves two grandchildren, Carson Hancock and Laiken Hancock, two nephews and one niece.
