McKENZIE — Coach John Weeks maintained his strong recruiting presence in the Mid-South area with the signing of Henry County High School standout Paige Roberts recently. Paige is the daughter of Eddie and Tammie Roberts of Paris, Tennessee and will major in Education.

She has played travel ball since the age of eight. Paige has been selected as an all-star in league action every year she has participated. She has started on the varsity squad at HCHS since her sophomore season.

She has helped lead the Lady Patriots to three district and regional titles during her career. HCHS finished third in the state her sophomore season and fifth her junior year.

Off the diamond she has excelled in the classroom being named to the National Honor Society. She made the Dean’s List and is also a member of the FCA and FFA.

Coach Weeks commented on the signing. “Paige will add youthful experience and depth to our pitching staff. She is a local product from Henry County that has excelled at her school and during her travel ball career. She has a strong mound presence and a determined work ethic. Paige has excelled in the classroom and community and will be a great ambassador for Bethel and our softball program.”
