HOLLOW ROCK — Mr. Stephen “Steve” Lee Cook, 67, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee died Wednesday July 17, 2019 at Camden General Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Mebane and Bart Blankenship officiating the service. Interment followed in the Prospect Cemetery.
Pallbearers who served were Ashley Cook, Lee Cook, Tyler Cook, Herschel Bailey, Jaxon Cook, Allen Eubanks, Daniel Eubanks, Hayden Williams, and Weston Wood. Honorary pallbearers were the Carroll County Electric Department employees and retirees.
Mr. Cook was born October 22, 1951 in Lexington, Tenn. He worked for Carroll County Electric Department as a lineman, a member of Twin City Community Church, and served as mayor of Hollow Rock for two terms.  He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Lee Cook.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Cook, two sons, Ashley Cook, Lee (Lauren) Cook, both of Hollow Rock, his mother, Ann Cook of Bruceton, one sister, Cathy (James) Butler of Bruceton, and one brother, Perry (Alberta) Cook of Camden. He also leaves three grandchildren, Tyler (Casi) Cook, Sophie Cook and Jaxon Cook. +
