Watershed Authority Grants Permission for Playground

HUNTINGDON (October 23) — Carroll County Watershed Authority granted approval for Lakewood Capital Group to install a playground, beach area for the Fisherman’s Cove development on Carroll County 1000-Acre Recreation Lake.

The area will be 30-foot by 50-foot area near the open-air pavilion for use by the landowners in the subdivision development.

The Authority approved a beach buffer reduction in an earlier meeting.

Attending the meeting were authority members Bob Clark, Natalie Porter, Joe Smothers, Dale Kelley, and chairman Tommy Surber.

Members are appointed by Governor Haslam to the governmental entity.
