McKENZIE (February 19) — Bethel University announces that two students and one faculty member will be representing the university in the upcoming National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSSC) in Atlanta. The in-person championships are February 25-27, 2024, at the State Farm Arena, hosted by the Atlanta Hawks. more

McKENZIE (January 30) — Bethel University announces four exceptional sports management students, Eric Arnold, Adeline Edwards, Makenya Gaskin, Michael Rowser and professor, Dr. Joshua Greer are working at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. This is the fifth straight Super Bowl for Bethel’s sports management. more
McKENZIE (January 23) — McKenzie High School senior Mikaela Reynolds chose to continue her education at Bethel University and is the newest signee for the Lady Wildcats Basketball Team. During a signing event at MHS on Tuesday, a school snow day, family, friends and Lady Rebels teammates join in the celebration. more
HENDERSON (January 13) — The Bethel Wildcats ran into a hot shooting Freed-Hardeman team Saturday in Henderson. The No 11 Lions shot 60 percent from the floor and knocked down 16 three-pointers enroute to a 100-54 win over the Wildcats. more
McKENZIE (January 6) — The Bethel University Swim team conducted their NAIA Champions of Character event Saturday at the Gaines Pool on the Bethel campus. It was a 100x100 swim challenge for ALS. more
Local Football Players Make All-State The Tennessee Sportswriters Associated listed its list of All-State players on January 4. Four players from McKenzie and one from Huntingdon were honored. more

McKENZIE (November 25) — The No. 7 Bethel University Wildcats pulled away midway of the third quarter to beat No. 9 Evangel 40-13 and in doing so advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Championship Series. The game was the 500th in program history. more
VANCOUVER, Washington (November 17) — Bethel’s Joseph Skoog finished as national runner-up in the 2023 Men’s Cross Country National Championship in Vancouver, Washington Friday afternoon. more
McKENZIE — Bethel Director of Sports Medicine Jason Essary recently announced Katelyn Robertson has joined the Bethel Athletic Department and will serve as the Wildcat team dentist. She is the owner of Webb-Robertson Dental Clinic in Huntingdon. more
TRENTON (October 14) — On Saturday, the City of Trenton honored longtime coach and city alderman, Frank Gibson. Pedestrian Park in downtown Trenton was The Frank Gibson Pedestrian Park. Gibson spearheaded the creation of Pedestrian Park, turning a vacant lot in the heart of the downtown area into what is now one of the most utilized and beautiful amenities the city has to offer. more
