ATWOOD (September 16) — West Carroll Junior High celebrated Homecoming Monday, delayed from the previous week due to weather. The War Eagles hosted Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Middle School and kept the Tigers at arm’s length for a 26-12 victory. more

McKENZIE (August 3) - McKenzie Middle School hosted its annual preseason football jamboree Saturday at Randy Thomas Field with 18 teams participating in ten total contests. more
ATWOOD — Five senior West Carroll Baseball players were honored on Senior Night at their home stadium. Each was presented a plaque, large, framed picture, and the honor of walking with their parents onto the field to be announced publicly. After the short presentation, the moms each threw a baseball to their son. more
McKenzie (March 21) — McKenzie brought home their first win against Gleason. Lane Anderson pitched and only let two people on base with zero runs earned. There were four runs in the first inning. The Rebels got one in the fourth inning. McKenzie ended the game in the fifth inning with five more runs. Tate Surber hit a double that sent Jake Cassidy and Hayden Garrett ending the game 10-0. more
ATWOOD (February 3) — Mayce Mitchell, a senior at West Carroll High School, was crowned the 2024 Homecoming Queen during ceremonies between the ladies’ and men’s games on Saturday afternoon. Mayce is the daughter of David and Misty Mitchell. more
Local Football Players Make All-State The Tennessee Sportswriters Associated listed its list of All-State players on January 4. Four players from McKenzie and one from Huntingdon were honored. more
HERMITAGE (October 28) — Several local teams from and around the Tri-County area made the TSSAA State Football Playoffs. more
West Carroll High School held its 2023 Football Homecoming on Friday, September 8. The royalty was crowned in pre-game ceremonies at 5:30 p.m. more

PARIS — West Carroll High School War Eagles prevailed over the Stewart County Rebels in jamboree action at Henry County on Friday, August 11. more
McKENZIE (August 5) — On Saturday, football teams from sixteen different middle schools clashed at Randy Thomas Field for the annual McKenzie Jamboree. Three Carroll County teams competed, including McKenzie, Huntingdon, and West Carroll Middle Schools. Each team played two twenty-minute quarters on one half of the football field, allowing double match-ups to occur simultaneously. more
