HUNTINGDON (March 18) — Huntingdon Schools has another new sport for the 2021-22 school year: high school girls’ volleyball. During a 7 a.m. meeting of the Huntingdon School Board on March 18, the board approved the addition of the high school sport. Earlier this year, the school also approved middle school and high school soccer. more
McKENZIE — Members of the 2020 McKenzie Middle School football team celebrated their undefeated season (7-0) with a scaled-down event because of the pandemic. more
McKENZIE (March 11) — High-achieving students at McKenzie High School were honored during the 36th annual Honors Program on Thursday, March 11 in the MHS Gymnasium. Student honorees were seated at floor-level and due to the pandemic, the limited-sized, socially-distanced audience was seated in the bleachers. more
In February students all across West Tennessee auditioned for the WTSBOA All-West Clinic. Although the clinic did not happen this year due to COVID-19, students were able to audition for placement and earn All-State status. more
ATWOOD — On Thursday, March 4, the West Carroll FFA chapter was awarded a grant from the Tennessee Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom program. The Ag in the Classroom funds were presented by representatives of the Carroll County Farm Bureau. more
