HUNTINGDON (August 21) - The Huntingdon Special School District Board of Education met Wednesday, the first meeting since the beginning of the school year. Members approved a bump in pay for food service substitutes as well an additional educational assistant position. The board also heard from high school Principal Porsche McClerking about an exciting new initiative at the school. more

ATWOOD (August 8) — The West Carroll school board met on Thursday August 8 and approved the fiscal year 2024-’25 budget. The $11.6 million budget includes $1.5 million in improvements to the Primary and Elementary schools as well as new asphalt paving for all three schools in the district, some of which is already completed. more
McKENZIE (August 6) — The McKenzie Special School District Board of Education approved tennis as a new high school sport and new scoreboards at Rebel Stadium and McKenzie Middle School Gymnasium during the August 6 meeting. more
