McKENZIE (February 8) — On Thursday night, a workshop was held for the McKenzie City Council with the goal of better understanding the process and requirements to grant a retail liquor license. Following some confusion during the last meeting of the Alcohol Board, City Attorney Beau Pemberton recommended a workshop be held to help educate the Council. more

HUNTINGDON — The Carroll County Election Commission is preparing for three elections this year in March, August and November with new voting equipment and paper ballots. The first election is March 5, 2024 with the presidential preference primary and county primary election. Currently, 22 candidates have qualified for 18 school board seats throughout the county, but only one school board candidate will appear on the March partisan primary ballot. more
