Counterfeiting/Forgery — According to a report made by Deputy Eric Sawyers, on August 24, Dollar General reported that an unknown male passed five $100 bills on August 24, and the bills were counterfeit. The subject had loaded a card in the store for $500 and gave the clerk five counterfeit bills. Video was obtained and the same subject had passed six $100 counterfeit bills at the Dollar General Bruceton on the same date. The same individual is caught on camera in Subway at Huntingdon and Dollar General using counterfeit money. After a thorough investigation, the police department found that there were two subjects using these counterfeit bills, Jonathan Alexander Hayden and Evans Devon Pelt from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Warrants have been issued. more

DUI — Hunter Wayne Uselton, 23, Hamilton Street, McKenzie was charged with DUI-First Offense, Vandalism, and Leaving the Scene of An Accident on August 24. more
Juvenile Flees Police — A juvenile male was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail after he was driving 94 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone on August 15. more
Violation of Order of Protection — According to a report made by Deputy Sean Bongiovanni on August 13, deputies were dispatched to a home on Jessie Lane in reference to an order of protection being violated. more
Domestic Assault — According to a report made on August 3, 2024, by Officer Malachi Arline, officers responded to the Huntingdon Police Department in reference to a domestic assault Upon arrival, officers talked to the victim, April Hester, who stated that she was assaulted by the father of her children, Reginald Gordon, 45, of Huntingdon. According to Hester’s statement, her and Reginald were in a vehicle traveling down Lexington Street when there was a verbal altercation and Gordon hit the victim on the right side of her face with his fist. Ms. Hester had visible signs on her face of being hit. At approximately 10:30 p.m., Sgt Parham and officer Arline placed Reginald Gordon under arrest for domestic assault. more

DUI — Susan C. Coplin, 59, Highland Drive, McKenzie, was charged with DUI, Implied Consent, and Expired Registration after a traffic stop on August 7. more
