Leaving the Scene of an Accident — On December 15, Sgt. Davis responded to a hit-and-run call at Dollar General located on Highway 22 in McKenzie. Upon arriving on scene a witness described a white male wearing a hat, black hoodie, and shorts, stating the male got into a gold pickup truck and backed into a black Honda Civic that was sitting in a parking spot near the front of the store. The witness said the driver never stopped and left the scene heading toward Gleason on Hwy 22.  more

Driving on Suspended License — According to a report made by Officer Kristen Lee on December 7, she observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, so she conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in which the driver, Travis W. Winston, 34, was driving. Dispatch confirmed that Winston’s license was suspended. more

Possession of Schedule II (Meth) — According to a report made by Deputy Sean Bongiovanni on December 12, he observed a Bronze Buick traveling West Bound on Broad Street in Hollow-Rock. more

Accidental Shooting, Stolen Firearm — Christopher Michael Norton, 37, Elm Street, McKenzie, presented himself at the emergency room of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County on the evening of December 10. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and thigh. more

Aggravated Child Abuse and Neglect — According to a report by Officer Brad Allen, on November 25, 2024, he issued a warrant on Brenna Clark, 29, of Huntingdon. On October 28, the Department of Children services requested a hair follicle on Brenna’s -old child which came back positive for methamphetamine. On November 26, Brenna Clark was taken into custody at the D.C.S. office in Camden and transported to Carroll County Jail. more
