$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Cedar Grove

A lucky lottery player in Cedar Grove won $50,000 from a Powerball drawing held Saturday, May 27.

The Powerball winner matched four out of five white balls and the red Powerball to win the $50,000 prize. The ticket was sold at Quality Service Center, 9100 Hwy. 70 in Cedar Grove.

The winner has not yet claimed their prize.

The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation operates from the revenue it generates through the sale of its products. Since January 20, 2004, the Lottery has raised more than $6.8 billion to fund designated education programs, including college grants, scholarships, Drive to 55 initiatives and after-school programs. Players have won $18.8 billion in prizes, and Lottery retailers have earned more than $1.8 billion in commissions.
