ATWOOD -   Funeral services for Aaron “Ray” Box are Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Pleasant Grove Cemetery and Brother Carl Brown is the officiant. Pallbearers to serve are Dave Box, Gerald Box, Tom Box, Garry Box, Donnie Box, Billy Box, Kevin Box and Kelly Box.

Mr. Box, 80, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Sharon on April 26, 1940 to Albert and Milier Maurine Jones Box. He is a retired supervisor and operations manager of Compro in Collierville and Cookeville. Mr. Box was an avid golfer, fisherman, Tenn. Vols fan and woodworker. He was a member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist. In his later years, he devoted his life to the building and maintenance of Caney Fork Baptist Church in Cookeville.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Manns Box of Atwood, two daughters, Rhonda (Donald) Cunningham of Atwood and Keshia (Scott) Eubank of Midlothian, Texas, four grandchildren, Drew Cunningham, Cody Cunningham, Logan Eubank and Emily Eubank and one great-granddaughter, Nellie Kate Cunningham.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenneth Ray Box, a sister, Marie Adkins and three brothers, James Box, Jerry Box and Edward Box.
