The McKenzie Christmas Parade brings in the holiday cheer on Saturday, December 3, at 4 p.m. The Big Jingle Parade lineup begins at 3:30 p.m. in the McKenzie Middle School parking lot. Anyone wanting to participate should email mckenzie.events@cityofmckenzie.com or call Jennifer Sims at 731-415-0981. ‘A Mistletoe Christmas’  is December 2 and 3 in downtown McKenzie. Check out ‘A Mistletoe Christmas’ Facebook page to see the events schedule and all the fabulous vendors at Mistletoe Market.
 
The Huntingdon Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 10, at 6 p.m. Anyone wanting to participate can register by downloading the form at https://www.dixiepac.net/community.../main-street-christmas. Complete the form and return it to The Dixie, 191 Court Square, Huntingdon, 38344. Awards will be given to first and second places in each division. It is requested no one use Santa in a float as the town will provide the one and only Santa for the parade. Candy may be thrown from the floats to the crowd on the sidewalks. All candy must be thrown away from the streets and all drivers should be mindful of pedestrians. The route will be the same as in years past and will begin on West Main Street near the Court House. Floats will go around the Court Square to East Main Street and end near Fifth Avenue.
 
Hometown Christmas in Gleason kicks off Saturday, December 3, with a glow parade at 6 p.m. Following the parade, there will be vendors and food trucks at the fire station. City Hall will be open 6:30-8 p.m. and residents can enjoy cookies with Santa, beautifully lighted Christmas trees and much more. There will also be the school ornament tree on display. Come out and enjoy a night of fun.
 
The Holly Jolly Electric Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Downtown Paris Association, is Saturday, December 10, at 5 p.m. immediately following Santa’s Christmas Festival. Anyone wanting to participate can register by downloading the application and guidelines at VisitDowntownParis.com, call 731-642-3431 or stop by the Downtown Paris Association office, 203 North Fentress Street, Paris. There is a $25 entry fee. This year the parade follows an alternate route beginning at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of East Blythe and South Poplar Streets. It will head north to the First Baptist Church, turn right on Ruff and then return on Brewer Street. 
 
The Clarksburg Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 8, at 7 p.m. Open House is Saturday, December 10, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
 
The Hollow Rock-Bruceton School Christmas Parade is Wednesday, December 14 at 1 p.m. followed by ‘Christmas on the Hill’  from 5-7 p.m. at the school, 29590 Broad Street, Bruceton. Activities are free and include ornament making, cookie decorating, Santa, the Grinch, reindeer, food stations, letters to Santa, music, nail and hair salon, games, spaghetti dinner, door prizes and more. 
 
The McLemoresville Christmas Decoration and Lighting competition for homes will be judged on Thursday, December 15, at 6 p.m.
 
The Trezevant Christmas Parade begins  at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 12. Line up at 6 p.m.
