Carroll County’s Baptist Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Departments are experiencing record numbers of patients presenting with COVID-19. These record numbers are causing significantly longer wait times for all patients–including those with emergency needs.
Baptist Memorial Hospital in Carroll County recently released a statement asking patients to not visit the Emergency Department for any reasons that do not require urgent care, including COVID-19 testing.
Hospital staff asks patients experiencing non-life threatening COVID-19 or cold symptoms, including a sore throat and stuffy nose, to stay at home or consider contacting their primary care provider for medical care.
Baptist Carroll County Family Health Care at 641 R.B. Wilson Drive in Huntingdon still provides COVID-19 testing. To schedule a test, call 731-986-7400.
