Brian Winston Named Carroll Bank and Trust-McKenzie City President

Carroll Bank and Trust announces the promotion of Brian Winston as the new city president of the McKenzie Branch.

“We are excited to announce this promotion of Brian Winston in our McKenzie market. We have a great team in McKenzie and have been fortunate to have exceptional leadership. Brian has demonstrated his capacity to continue our efforts to be the leading financial service provider for McKenzie. We are thankful for the commitment he has made to his community and to CB&T. We wish him great success in this new role,” said Mike Cary, President and CEO.

Brian is a lifelong resident of McKenzie. He is married to Allison and they have two children, a daughter, Avery and a son, Owen. He graduated from McKenzie High School in 2003 and attended Bethel University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2007. He is a 2016 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Brian has served in the banking industry for 13 years with the last 10 years at Carroll Bank & Trust.

As a dedicated member to his community, Brian served as a former McKenzie City Councilman and a former Carroll County commissioner, and former president of the McKenzie Rotary Club. He is serving as the chairman of the McKenzie Planning Commission.

He attends First Baptist Church of McKenzie where he is a deacon. He enjoys spending time with his family, church and sports.

“I love McKenzie and try to do whatever I can to help make it a better place to live. I am thrilled and humbled to be able to lead such a great team of employees in McKenzie. There is no doubt God has blessed us as a bank and we strive to continue to serve our customers as He would want,” said Winston.

Mark Warren has served as city president for the past four years.

“Mark has done a great job serving this community and will continue serving as a loan officer and senior officer at CB&T. We thank Mark for his leadership and mentorship he has shown to Brian as he transitions to this new role,” said Cary.
