Brylee Robertson Asks for Food Donations for Birthday

Posted

Brylee Robertson’s grandmother, Patricia Robertson, died April 22, 2020. So this year for Brylee’s 11th birthday on August 31, she wanted to do something special for her Nana Pat. She decided to ask everyone who came to her birthday to donate a canned good so she could in turn donate to United Neighbors in Nana Pats memory. She also asked her Family, Friends, Church Family, at Blooming Grove United Methodist Church, and people on Facebook to donate.
She could not believe all the outpouring of donations from everyone. She also had some people donate money so she went to Save a Lot in McKenzie and picked out the groceries. The McKenzie Save a Lot, with the help of Mr. Neil Haywood, was amazing. She thanks everyone who took the time to donate all the goodies for United Neighbors and also say a huge thank you to Saudia Akin, with United Neighbors.
