McKENZIE (March 1) — Progress toward the construction of a new multi-purpose sports and practice facility at McKenzie High School is moving forward. Lynn Watkins, director of McKenzie Special School District, told the Board of Education that legislation was introduced in the Tennessee General Assembly that will allow MSSD to borrow up to $4 million, if needed, to construct the facility.
