The Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen
This month’s meal at The Shepherd’s Table will be a fresh and hot traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey and dressing with all the fixings with delicious desserts.
The Shepherd’s Table, the community kitchen located in Huntingdon, Tenn. serves meals twice monthly. On each third Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church located at 19835 E. Main Street and on each fourth Tuesday at First United Methodist Church located at 201 Asbury Circle. Meals are served drive through 5 to 7 p.m. The Shepherds Table is open to the public and there is no cost.
The meals are prepared by volunteer staff hosted by different congregations in our town and donated by local businesses. Our town’s community kitchen was created by a group of volunteers that saw the need in the Carroll County community. Food scarcity is real and the Shepherd’s Table’s success is dependent on the support of volunteers and donations. They are scheduling the 2022 calendar. To volunteer or donate you can call 731-415-9199 and leave a message or email fpcshepherdstable@gmail.com.
