McKenzie Rebels City-Wide Pep Rally
McKenzie Rebels are hosting a city-wide pep rally on Wednesday, December 1, 8 p.m. at Randy Thomas Field. The Rebels depart for Chattanooga on Thursday and play Friday in the Class 1A championship game against South Fulton. 
 
McKenzie School Board Meets December 7
MSSD School Board meets December 7, 2021, 5:30 p.m. at the McKenzie Board of Education office, Bell Avenue, McKenzie.
 
Senior Citizens Luncheon
McKenzie Senior Citizens’ Christmas Add-A-Dish  Luncheon is December 2, 2020 at noon. Door prize this month a very pretty homemade quilt. Seniors come bring a dish and join us at the McKenzie Senior Citizens Center.
 
The Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen
The Shepherd’s Table, the community kitchen located in Huntingdon, Tenn. serves meals twice monthly. On each third Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church located at 19835 E. Main Street and on each fourth Tuesday at First United Methodist Church located at 201 Asbury Circle. Meals are served drive through 5 to 7 p.m. The Shepherds Table is open to the public and there is no cost.
The meals are prepared by volunteer staff hosted by different congregations in our town and donated by local businesses. Our town’s community kitchen was created by a group of volunteers that saw the need in the Carroll County community. Food scarcity is real and the Shepherd’s Table’s success is dependent on the support of volunteers and donations. They are scheduling the 2022 calendar. Former ITT Milan Employees Reunion
Former ITT Milan Employees bi-annual reunion is Thursday, December 9 at Hig’s Restaurant in Milan. Fellowship starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by the buffet meal. Cost is $14.50 per person and includes meal, drink and tip. Everyone is asked to bring a stuffed animal or toy to be given to the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center. Kellys To Sing At Grace Baptist
The Kellys of Lawrenceburg will sing at Grace Baptist Church, 747 Magnolia Avenue, McKenzie on Sunday, December 5 at 6 p.m.
 
TOPS Meets on Mondays
The McKenzie Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) Chapter meets Mondays at McKenzie Church of Christ gymnasium at 4 p.m. 
Anyone interested can join. Visitors are welcome. The first meeting is free and membership is $32 per year plus nominal chapter fees, which will increase to $49 per year in January.

The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.
 
McKenzie Condemnation Meetings Monthly
City of McKenzie Condemnation Meetings are the fourth Monday of each month at 3 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
 
Christmas with Renaissance
Christmas with Renaissance performances are December 3 at 7 p.m., December 4 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and December 5 at 2 p.m. All performances will be in the Dickey Fine Arts Building at Bethel University.
 
County Democratic Committee, Women Meet Monthly
Carroll County Democratic Women Committee meets each third Tuesday at 6 p.m. Meetings are held at the Carroll County Office Complex on High Street in Huntingdon. Everyone is welcome to attend.
