McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Carol A. Boyd is Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 11 a.m. until service. Interment will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, 77, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at her daughter’s home.
She was a retired secretary for State Farm Insurance. She was born March 6, 1944 in McKenzie to Jack and Dorothy Louise Moore Swearingen.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Scott) Dawson of Coldwater, Miss., a son, Mike ( Vickie) Boyd of Munford, a sister, Barbara (Tony) Grissom of Gleason, six grandchildren, David (Brackin) Dawson, Blake Dawson, Coley Dawson, Ethan (Krystal) Boyd, Caleb Dawson and James Dawson and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Alita
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, James Boyd and sister, Jean Lemmons (who died December 14).
