HUNTINGDON — The Carroll County Fair Association has released the schedule for this year’s pageants and announced that the Miss Fairest of the Fair pageant will accept contestants from the surrounding counties, including Henry, Weakley, Gibson Madison, Henderson, Decatur and Benton.
All other pageants are open only to Carroll County residents.
Pageants begin Saturday, August 2 with Little Miss Carroll County (ages 4-6) at 9 a.m., Little Miss Fairest of the Fair (7-9) at 9:30 a.m., Junior Fairest of the Fair (10-12) at 10 a.m. and Teen Fairest of the Fair at 10:30 a.m.
Interviews for Miss Fairest of the Fair (16-20) begin at 11 a.m. and the pageant follows at 1 p.m.
On Sunday, August 3, the Fair Friends Baby Show (0-23 months) begins at 2:30 p.m., followed by Tiny Mr. And Miss Carroll County (ages 2-3) at 3:30 p.m. Boys go first in each Sunday pageant.
