COVID-19 Cases Increase in Carroll, Henry During Week

NASHVILLE (June 1) — According to the Tennessee Department of Health, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee stands at 23,554, with 15,564 of those recovered and 367 died in the year 2020.
As of Monday, there are 23,554 (up from 20,607 last Monday) positive cases and a total of 267 (up from 338 deaths last week). The numbers represent the total number of positive cases during the 2020 pandemic.
In Carroll County, there has been one death, 24 recovered and 28 (27 last Monday) positive cases. A total of 1,380 (1.279 last Monday) were diagnosed as negative.

In Henry County, 19 have recovered of 31 (29 last Monday) positive cases and 1,586 tested negative.
In Weakley County, 25 have recovered of 26 positive cases and 1,393 tested negative.
In the United States, as of Monday, a total of 1,787,680 (1,637,456 last Monday) positive cases were reported in 2020 with 104,396 (97,669 last Monday) deaths, according to Centers for Disease Control.
In the world, there are 6,057,853 total positive cases and 371,116 deaths.
