Bethel’s Darel Middleton to Play in Hula Bowl

ORLANDO, Florida — The Hula Bowl is the Nation’s Premier College Football All-Star Game. The Hula Bowl is an event where NFL, XFL, USFL and CFL teams are represented by top scouts watching the game. 
 
Bethel’s Darel Middleton will represent the Wildcats in the game. It is Saturday, January 14, 11 a.m. CST on the CBS TV network. For more information, visit www.hulabowl.com
 
One hundred of the top senior athletes will play at the game in Orlando, Florida on January 14th at 11 a.m. CST. Players will be participating from across the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan.​
 
The native of Knoxville played ten games this past season at Bethel and had one of the biggest plays of the year at Lindsey Wilson. He scooped up a fumble and ran for 48 yards and a touchdown which was a key play in the battle between the undefeated squads.  
 
The Hula Bowl committee said, “Darel Middleton is a massive man in the middle for the Bethel program. We are excited to have the big man coming to Orlando to display his talent.”
