McKENZIE — Neal Thompson, District Attorney for the 24th Judicial District, was the featured speaker at the weekly meeting of the McKenzie Rotary Club.
Thompson spoke about how court officials, judges, and attorneys are working to reduce the backlog of court cases in the five-county judicial district. He particularly addressed the problem of illicit drugs and international drug trafficking.
