Mc Kenzie, TNGLEASON, Tenn. - Service for Donald C. Whitworth, 91 of Gleason are Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Beech Springs Church in Gleason at 2 pm. Entombment to follow in Beech Springs Cemetery.
He was born October 17, 1930 and died January 26, 2022Visitation is Monday, 4 to 7 p.m., at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. It will resume Tuesday at 12 noon at the church and go until time of service.
Mr. Whitworth is survived by son, Donald Whitworth of Rhode Island, sisters, Pat Garner and Margaret Lovell, and brother, Cotton Whitworth. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Gretchen Haynes of Gleason, Matthew McCollum of Gleason, Troy Whitworth of Gleason, Kelley Whitworth of California, Travis Whitworth of Texas, Rachael Whitworth of Rhode Island, Zachariah Whitworth of Rhode Island, and Dakota Whitworth of Rhode Island; along with ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Whitworth was preceded in death by his wife Billie Jean Whitworth, children, Rebecca Lynne McCollum, and Larry Whitworth, along with parents, Cloys Whitworth and Ella Faye Whitworth, brothers, Aaron Whitworth, Harold Whitworth, Ray Whitworth, and sister, Mildred Garner.
